The Lookout offers a charming retreat - a meticulously restored 19th-century outbuilding nestled in the picturesque rural landscape of West Wight. Dating back to 1859, this building originally served as a coastguard 'lookout' for smuggling activities. Restored and converted, it now stands as a fully equipped and thoughtfully designed compact cottage, providing an idyllic escape for weekend getaways or extended stays. This is a compact cottage (tiny home!) - highly recommended for two people, but can sleep up to four people if you want to squeeze. The cottage offers a full bathroom, kitchenette and living room. For sleeping a deluxe double sofa bed can be setup in the living room, or the two single ladder access bunks above the kitchen can be used (see pictures). 24/7 hot water and underfloor heating is provided. |
